Tiderunner Bassmasters (Spring08)

The officers for our club this year are as follows.

President - Walt Lechert

Vice President - Mark Wilhite

Secretary/Safety Director - Scott Dunlop TX Director/Web Master - Denis Schanberger

To date we have fished 2 TX's. One could say they were cookie - cutter events for 1st and 2nd place since they were the same anglers in those spots. Our 1st TX of the year was on the Potomac river. We opted not to go to NC this year due to reasons including the ridiculous gas prices we are all suffering through. 1st place went to Chuck Doran w/ 5 fish weighing 11lbs 11oz. 2nd place went to Walt Lechert w/ 3 fish weighing 8lbs 61/2oz. He also had lunker of the TX at 4lb 3 1/2oz. 3rd place went to Mark Wilhite w/ 2 fish weighing 4lb 2 1/2 oz.

Our 2nd TX of the year was on Middle River. It was a typical spring day w/ threatening weather and it was on the cool side. Again Chuck Doran won the TX with 2 fish weighing 5lb 7 1/2oz but this time also caught the lunker for the TX at 3lb 5oz. In 2nd place was Walt Lechert with 2 fish weighing 5lb 1oz. And in 3rd place was Denis Schanberger w/ 2 fish weighing 4lb 7 1/2oz. Our next TX is April 26th on the Susquehanna Flats. Good luck to all.
